What is a Whole Foods Plant Based  (WFPB) Diet?

WFPB Food Guide

There is not much portioning, tracking or counting. It's pretty simple: you'll enjoy a wide range of whole, unrefined plants including vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, and fruits. 

Non-starchy Vegetables

Leafy greens, broccoli, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, etc

Starchy vegetables

Potatoes, sweet potatoes, legumes, beans, lentils, peas, corn, squash, plantains

Fruits

All whole fruits, as found in nature

100% whole wheat, oats, brown rice, barley, buckwheat, bulgar, quinoa, millet, Rye *​

Beverages

Water, unsweetened plant “milks,” organic coffee and tea

Omega 3 sources

Chia seeds, ground flax seed
