Our dream is for each individual to
be able to experience uplifting & educational yet non-intimidating practices such as yoga, body work,
meditation, art, nutritional information
& cooking demonstrations.
We encourage each participant to apply what
they've learned during their class or
retreat into their daily lives.
While each workshop & retreat are varied in theme, style, food and participation size, all are designed to inspire
the mind, body & soul.
Our hope is to stimulate healthy bodies & positive minds, influence community as well as
respect for our Mother Earth.

Creator of Extend To Center, Stacie grew up in upstate NY and now lives with her husband in San Pasqual Valley, CA. She has been teaching Yoga, Pilates and Personal Training clients since graduating with her Bachelors & Masters degree in Exercise Physiology at Syracuse University in 2005.
Studying Martial Arts from the age of 9 to 25, Stacie gained
awareness of the powerful mind & body connection. Playing
lacrosse at S.U. as well as becoming a strength & conditioning coach during college she furthered her anatomy & applied physiology knowledge by working with different body types and ability levels. Having the opportunity to live and learn at Kripalu Yoga Center in Massachusetts for 7 months after graduate school, furthered her journey into the healing potential of yoga, Eastern medicine, nutrition & other Eastern philosophies.
Stacie has worked with athletes young and old, is able to work with, & help clients recover from many injuries as well as other physical & mental limitations. Since 2008 she has been a lead trainer & instructor at Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge & providing tools that focus on the ability to be empowered and to self-recharge anywhere & in any situation.
Workshop & Retreat Co-Creators/Instructors
Joni Gurrola is our amazing Baker & Chocolatier who studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. Joni is also a mom of 5, and grandma of 5. She is an avid tennis player & enjoys pilates classes when not on the court. Joni loves to bake and experiment with culinary trends and is always up for a challenge in the kitchen!
Nicole Estrada is a local Personal Chef who owns the popular catering company 'Fresh Creations'.
"My mission is to guide you and your family toward food choices that are both healthy and delicious. I have been trained to prepare a wide variety of cuisines that will meet your individual needs and preferences. Whether your tastes are vegan, gluten-free, or refined sugar-free I am prepared to use my knowledge and skills to prepare a sumptuous and unforgettable meal."
Maria Baez graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She holds a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Personal Trainer (CPT) certification and has graduated with her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.
Marie combines Traditional Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture with functional blood work and Neuro Emotional Technique in order to accomplish a balance between the physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual.
Suzanne Wise is a PMA Certified Pilates Instructor at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health and Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa. She is our nutrition expert, owning her own raw food catering & cooking business; Wise Living Foods.
Veronica Cesena has experience in teaching Vinyasa, Gentle Flow, Restorative, Meditation and Sound Healing classes. Her yoga training and continued education in sound healing modalities includes instruction by a Tibetan Buddhist in the traditional techniques of Tibetan singing bowls. Veronica is a graduate of the University of San Diego, and a certified 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance.
